Michelle P. McKnight, PA-C, MPAS
Physician Assistant Certified
Michelle joined Dr. Andrew Douglass and the team of highly trained staff at East Tennessee Vein Clinic in 2015. Michelle brings a wealth of experience in the treatment of vein disease dating back to 2001 during the early formative years of the new specialty of phlebology in Roanoke, VA where she practiced until 2009 with Jefferson Surgical Clinic. After moving to Knoxville in 2010 she teamed with a large cardiology group, but in 2015 returned to her passion for individualized care of patients with vein disease.
Michelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jefferson College of Health Science in 2001 in Roanoke, VA and later received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Nebraska in 2005. Michelle is board certified by the National College of Certified Physician Assistant and is a member of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants.
Michelle resides in Knoxville with her husband Jon and their two daughters. She is busy outside of work with her children’s sports and church activities. As a family they enjoy boating on the weekends and spending time with family.
Amanda Newman, RN
Amanda joined the team at East Tennessee Vein Clinic in March, 2011 as sclerotherapy nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree from West Virginia University and has several years of RN experience in local area hospitals.
Amanda lives in Knoxville with her husband Mitch and son. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and being involved with church activities.
Michelle Gilliam, RN, BSN
Michelle recently joined Dr. Andrew Douglass and the team of East Tennessee Vein Clinic in April, 2019.
Michelle is a Registered Nurse with 12 years of experience working specifically in the Specialty of Venous Vein Disease, with a special emphasis on treating Spider Veins and Reticular Veins. Michelle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Wesleyan College, Athens Tennessee in 2009.
Michelle has a wide range of nursing experience including an Emergency Room Charge Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, and a National trainer with RN’s for Vein Clinics of America. Michelle has been involved with Vein Clinic Marketing, Staff Training and Aesthetics and recently has been involved as a Cardiac/Thoracic Surgical Unit RN and a Home Health Nurse.
Michelle resides in Knoxville with her husband David and they have 3 sons; one played football for the University of Tennessee and graduated with a law degree. Her second son also graduated from UTK with a degree in finance and her youngest son is a senior and plays football for Wake Forrest. As a family they enjoy going to football games and in her spare time, Michelle enjoys being a fiction writer.
Beata J. Czartoryski, RVT
Beata joined Dr. Andrew Douglass and the team in March, 2018. Beata is a Registered Vascular Technologist with 5 ½ years of experience in vascular ultrasound, with an additional 4 years in ultrasound in the treatment of vein disease. She is also a Registered Radiology Technologist and has worked in the medical field since early 2000.
Beata graduated Magna Cum Laude from Roane State Community College in 2001 in Oak Ridge, TN with an Associate of Applied Science – Radiologic Technology and worked for 6 years in various hospitals including the University of Tennessee Medical Center Knoxville.
Beata resides in Oak Ridge with her husband Kristof and their three dogs. She has 2 daughters, both graduates of UTK and one grandson. She is busy outside of work with her children, gardening and church activities. Both Beata and her husband were born in Poland. As a family they enjoy traveling including foreign destinations.
Trecia D. Todd
Ultrasound Technician PRN
Trecia covers our clinic ultrasounds PRN. She obtained her degree in radiology in 1992 from Roane State Community College. After completion of ultrasound school in 2000 she worked in various area hospitals and physicians offices before joining East Tennessee Vein Clinic and focusing on venous ultrasound.
Trecia is a native of Knoxville and is very active with the outreach and women’s ministries of her church. She also enjoys spending time with her three children and six grandchildren.
Certified Medical Assistant
Elizabeth joined East Tennessee Vein Clinic in June 2017. She obtained her Associates degree with honors from Virginia College in 2014 and has over 15+ years of medical experience. She is an active member of the NHA. She has a background in family medicine and is passionate about patient care.
She plans to continue her education and obtain her RN degree.
Elizabeth lives in Corryton with husband Terry and three children. She enjoys her life as a mom, sister and aunt and spends her spare time traveling for her children’s sporting events.
Cindy L. Arnold
Director of Operations
Cindy joined the team at East Tennessee Vein Clinic in January ,2011. Cindy has over 27 years of experience in the medical field with a primary focus on Healthcare Administration and has successfully managed multiple walk-in medical clinics and family practices throughout her career. Cindy is a member of the ACMPE.
Cindy lives in Greenback with her husband Tony. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. In her spare time Cindy stays active with her family and grandchildren’s sporting events and being involved with the ministries of RIO-Central in Maryville, TN. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, Tennessee Football and riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Patient Coordinator/ Medical Assistant
Christy joined the ETVC team in March, 2013. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management form Virginia College and has more than 20+ years in the healthcare field.
Christy is married with three children and stays very active with her children and sport activities and enjoys spending time with her husband on the Harley.
