Brittany N. Cook, MD, RhPS

Dr. Cook, a Knoxville native, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, as well as the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is a board-certified eye surgeon who has chosen to change her focus to venous disease. She has trained and gained experience in phlebology with Dr. Douglass, who opened the first full-time vein clinic in Tennessee in 2001. Dr. Cook is a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and a member of the American Society of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. She is board-eligible for the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, and plans to take the exam when next offered in August of 2021.

I came to Dr. Douglass with a debilitating complex vein problem, though other doctors were unable to solve. Dr. Douglass took the time to research and develop a solution that was not only successful but, has changed my life. The office staff have always helped me like a family member and work very hard to create a relaxing comfortable experience. Dr. Douglass and the East Tennessee Vein Clinic have restored my trust in medical professionals.
